The Ahimsa Collection

Refined. Timeless. Pure.

Ahimsa - the ancient buddhist concept of 'do no harm' - is reinterpreted in cloth: the core of Ahimsa is timeless pieces made with a light environmental footprint: peace silk, homespun & organic cotton & undyed linen.

In paying homage to the humble silk worm, the cotton bole & the flax plant, Ahimsa allows the simplicity & beauty of these natural fibres to take centre stage with minimal design intervention. As Leonardo da Vinci put it, "simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." The limited addition of natural dyeing & hand-embroidery enhances the simplicity of each piece.

Natural fibres, made by hand into fine cloth: what humans have been doing for millennia.

Refined in silhouette & colour palette; these pieces are designed for comfort & movement throughout the seasons. Ahimsa offers you a canvas of ivories, creams & whites upon which to build a look of your own.

Woven by artisans in Assam, West Bengal, Bihar & Madhya Pradesh; stitched by brothers Parvez & Lal in Delhi.
