Reversible, semi-fitted quilted jacket, crafted from an outer of itajime clamp dyed silk, a lining of plain-dyed silk satin, and padded with fluffy cotton wadding. The quilting is embroidered by hand by our kantha artisans. The jacket is exquisitely soft, light and puffy; like a giant hug, and will keep you warm & cosy in high style.
- Mid thigh length with short side slits
- Fully reversible
- Full length, slightly tapered sleeves
- Closes in front with a single, hand-beaten brass button
- Contrast silk satin binding on the outer side adds a beautiful finishing.
- Patch pockets on outer side
- Crafted in habutai silk dyed in the itajime shibori technique
- Each 3m piece of fabric is folded, clamped and dyed by hand, so there are slight variations in colour and pattern between pieces
- All orders come lovingly packed in recycled silk bags
